Dr. Bibekananda Panda is a Clinical Director and the Head of the Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Department at CARE Hospitals, Bhubaneswar. He has over 17 years of experience in the field and is considered the best kidney transplant specialist in Bhubaneswar. Dr. Bibekananda Panda completed his MBBS from MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Brahmapur, and his MD from S.C.B. Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. He received his DNB in Nephrology from KG Hospital and PG Institution, Coimbatore. His contribution to the field of Nephrology has won him several accolades, including the Best Doctor in Nephrology Award in 2019 by Shri Naba Kisore Das, Hon'ble Health & Family Welfare Minister, Odisha. He is also the first Nephrologist in Odisha to perform a Cadaveric Kidney Transplantation. Apart from his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical research and has numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals and platform presentations at National and International Conferences and Webinars to his name.
