About Dr. Harinder Jit Singh Gill

Dr. H J S Gill completed MD (Medicine) from Delhi University & DM (Nephrology) from AIIMS (Delhi). He worked as a Nephrologist in the Army for 12 years & headed the Nephrology Department of the prestigious Army Hospital (R&R) at Delhi where he was closely involved in the management of kidney transplant patients. Later, he worked as Senior Consultant Nephrology in Rockland Hospital in Delhi till 2009 before joining Fortis Mohali. Dr. Gill established the kidney transplant unit at Fortis Hospital, Mohali in 2009 and has been responsible for the conceptualization and establishment of the successful kidney transplant program at Fortis Hospital, Mohali. Under his leadership, Fortis Hospital Mohali started the ABO-incompatible kidney transplant program in 2014 which has given hope to many patients with incompatible kidney donors in the region. He has vast experience in managing Kidney Transplantation, Critical Care Nephrology, Acute Renal Failure, Nephrotic Syndrome, Kidney stones, Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension & all forms of Dialysis.
