Dr. Kavitha Chintala, an alumnus of Gandhi Medical College, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Dr. Kavitha Chintala went on to garner multiple post-graduation accolades in the USA at the Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Oakland, California; Cook County Children’s Hospital, Chicago, Illinois; Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan; Vanderbilt University Medical Center & Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Penn State University. With over 20 years of experience, she is a pediatric cardiologist in Hyderabad. A champion of Paediatric Cardiology all throughout her career, Dr. Chintala has had a stint not only as a research assistant in California at the beginning of her career but also has worked as an Assistant Professor of Paediatrics, Division of Cardiology, at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Academy of Paediatrics, and American Society of Echocardiography. Apart from her work across various hospitals across India and the USA, she is a member of a multitude of professional organizations such as Member of the - Core Committee, Hyderabad chapter, Global Foundation for Ethics and Spirituality (GFESH); American Heart Association, Women in Cardiology section, American College of Cardiology, Congenital Heart disease section, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, Pulmonary Hypertension Association, Paediatric Cardiac Society of India, Indian Academy of Paediatrics, Indian Society of Perinatology and Reproductive Biology.
