Dr. Rahul Chandola is a versatile cardiothoracic surgeon; he has extensively trained at the best cardiac centres around the world, namely Humboldt University, Germany; Toronto General Hospital, Canada and the University of Alberta, Canada. He has had dedicated clinical fellowships in heart-lung transplant from the Universities of Toronto and Alberta, which are centres of excellence in the field of heart-lung transplantation. Dr Rahul Chandola is an expert in complex Aortic surgeries having trained with Dr Tirone David who is a pioneer in complex aortic surgeries. He has a vast experience in varied fields of Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is a pioneering Heart Lung Transplant Surgeon of International repute and is credited with Northern India’s first Lung transplant in post-COVID patients. He is spearheading the team IHLD (Institute of Heart and Lungs Diseases) in providing groundbreaking solutions to patients with end-stage heart and lung diseases
