About Dr. S P Manik Prabhu

Dr. Prabhu completed his MBBS from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, India, in 2003, followed by a Master of Surgery (General Surgery) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 2008. He further specialized in Neurosurgery, obtaining his Magister of Chirurgiae (MCh) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 2015. Throughout his career, Dr. Prabhu has demonstrated exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to excellence. He has received specialized training in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery during a fellowship at Sapporo Teishinkai Hospital, Japan. Additionally, he has participated in various certificate courses and conferences, further enhancing his knowledge and expertise in neurosurgery. Dr. Prabhu has been performing Endovascular & Cerebrovascular surgery, Skullbase neurosurgery, Epilepsy and Functional neurosurgery, Neuro oncology surgery, Paediatric neurosurgery, Craniotomies for tumors, Traumatic and Spontaneous intracranial hematomas, DBS for Parkinson's disease, Clipping aneurysms, Cerebral DSAs and Coiling of cerebral aneurysms, Endoscopic skullbase surgeries for Pituitary tumors, CSF rhinorrhea, Spinal decompression and Instrumentation for traumatic and Degenerative spinal disorders. Dr. Prabhu has been a member of the Karnataka Medical Council and the Indian Medical Association. His research contributions include projects with the Indian Council of Medical Research and publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is also actively involved in community service and has won accolades in academic activities
