Dr.Sanjeev Rohatgi practices at Manipal Hospital in Whitefield, Bangalore. He completed MBBS from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh in 1993, MS - General Surgery from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh in 1997 and FRCS - Intercollegiate (HPB & Upper GI) from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSE), the U.K in 2016. He has done fellowships in 3 high volume centers of UK namely Birmingham, Newcastle and Edinburgh, during which he did his Fellowship and European Board examinations. He did his DNB GI surgery training and worked in Mumbai for 5 years in Jaslok Hospital and Jagjivan Ram Hospital. He has a great deal of experience in managing successfully all the GI surgery conditions including complex benign and extensive malignancies of Upper and Lower GI tract. He super-specializes in HPB (Liver, Pancreatic and Biliary) Surgery, having extensive experience in managing these complex conditions for 8 years in the UK. He also specializes in Adult and Paediatric Liver Transplant and has worked in Medanta Hospital as a consultant for almost 4 years before joining Manipal Hospital. He has to his credit experience of more than 500 Liver Transplant and has done nearly 1000 HPB and GI surgeries and has expertise in the laparoscopic surgery. He has published extensively and presented in international conferences
